| About Us
In 1989, Michael J. Considine established a general law practice in the historic Lee National Bank Building in downtown Lee, Massachusetts. The practice has since grown to include attorneys Shawn P. Leary and Nicholas L. Parsenios. Real Estate Paralegal Mary Ann Saunders, who has worked at the firm since its inception, is now accompanied by Administrative Assistant Sara Dignard.
Our practice is well-established in the Berkshire community. We specialize in handling Real Estate, Zoning, Probate and Estate Planning, Personal Injury and Domestic Relations matters, as well as Mediation. We work with all local realtors, and have broad experience representing clients before town boards and in the local court system.
Built in 1835, the Lee National Bank Building is a landmark in the heart of a classic New England milltown. In 1996, the building was purchased by Considine and Leary, who undertook a full renovation, replacing much of the building's infrastructure, uncovering its signature atrium, and restoring original features such as brass teller cages. Greylock Federal Credit Union, current tenant of the bank space, assisted with the restoration. In 1997, the Massachusetts Historical Commission presented Considine and Leary with its annual state Preservation Award, and the Lee Historical Commission honored their "truly magnificent restoration" with its first Lee Preservation Award.
Our street-level law office at 49 Main in Lee is easily accessible, with plenty of parking nearby. It is also situated directly on county and inter-state bus routes. Lee is located in central Berkshire County, close to both the Massachusetts Turnpike and the New York border. |
